Friday: Guided transfer from Berlin Brandenburg Airport,
overnight (2 nights) you stay in a 3-star hotel
(Longer stay or in hostel on request.)

Saturday: tournament, festival souvenir, Players Party with free food and unlimited beer.
All players will receive a tour shirt and each team a tour ball. At the big award ceremony
there will be lots of prizes and other merchandising items.

RULES
Rules are based on EGOR Guidelines
AGE
All participants must be aged 45 and above!!!
SCRUMS
Scrums are uncontested, all forwards must remain bound until the ball has been cleared, scrum halves are permitted to follow the ball around the scrum, as well as number eight.
LINE OUTS
All forwards must participate, lifting of jumpers is not permitted, a quick throw is not allowed.
RUCKS
‘Clearing’ out of players not in possession of the ball is not permitted.
KICKING
Defending Players may kick the ball from within their 22; no other kicking is permitted other than start and restarts. Free Kicks and Penalty Kicks are exceptions.
There are no Kicks after a score!
RESTARTS
Following a score the scoring Team shall restart by kicking to their opponents.
SUBSTITUTIONS
Unlimited substitutions are allowed and Players may return to the field.
TIME
Games shall be played over one 15 minutes period. Break between games is 5 minutes.
OTHER
Players must observe the offside rule, particularly that of remaining behind the hindmost foot at rucks, mauls and scrums; lineouts to a minimum of 10 metres.
Captains will be responsible for the behaviour of their players.
Participants cannot wear any metal/aluminium studs. Only plastic, moulded or rubber ones are allowed!
GOLDEN OLDIES TACKLING RESTRICTIONS
RESTRICTIONS:
All Players must observe the restrictions on tackling Players wearing coloured shorts i.e. red, gold or purple.
GOLD SHORTS (Age range 65 – 74) – Any Player wearing gold shorts is not to be tackled or held but may be touched and opponents may stand in front of such Players, in both instances Players are deemed to have been ‘tackled’ and must pass the ball and be allowed to do so.
PURPLE SHORTS (Age 75 plus) – Any Player wearing purple shorts is not be impeded in any way and is afforded unlimited freedom of action. Must pass the ball after 20 steps.
